Creating an At-Home Spa Bath Routine
From pre-bath brushing to the perfect towel dry, a calm routine that leaves coats soft and clean.
Brush first
Always brush before bathing. Water tightens mats, so removing tangles beforehand makes the bath easier and more effective.
Water temperature
Use lukewarm water, never hot. Wet the coat thoroughly, working from the neck back to avoid the face.
Lather and rinse
A shampoo-dispensing palm distributes product evenly and massages the skin. Rinse until the water runs completely clear — leftover shampoo irritates skin.
Dry gently
Press, don't rub, with an absorbent microfiber wrap. Finish with a low, cool setting if your pet tolerates a dryer.
